The weather was perfect and fall colors were at their peak so beauty was all around us as the team traversed over 100 miles of waterways and forests. This was the first time Andrea, Chip and J.J has raced as a team and used it as an opportunity to train for their expedition length races planned in 2019 to include the Florida Sea to Sea 3 day and Expedition Africa 6 day races. The team at Adventure Addicts Racing put on an awesome and very challenging race that included brutal elevation changes, rugged terrain, upstream paddling, back country navigation on private land, freezing temperatures and white knuckle mountain biking. The competition was fierce with numerous veteran racers all fighting hard for the win. Definitely a once in a lifetime experience.
